The Capital Library of China is a major public library under the jurisdiction of the Beijing municipality. The National Library of Singapore is a knowledge institution, entrusted and empowered to collect, preserve and make Singapore’s cultural and literary resource accessible to all. It is currently the premier resource for works about Singapore and Southeast Asia and provides the largest selection of reference works in multiple languages for the public. The Library actively engages the public through programmes, exhibitions, education outreach and digital platforms.
